| What is the difference between MMA & Epoxy?
Epoxies become brittle over time, have a long cure time and are NOT ultraviolet resistant.
How long does it take to install an MMA floor coating vs. an Epoxy coating?
Each coat of MMA cures in one hour to use. Epoxy coats require between 12 to 16 hours to cure between each coat.
Is there a difference in cost between MMA & Epoxy?
Resin cost of MMA's are slightly higher than those of epoxies. However, the MMA system will provide a greater mil thickness than an epoxy system, creating longer years of service.
What is the final cost of a job?
Depending on square footages and the system selected, cost will vary. Generally the best dollar value will be with an MMA system.
Are cracks, joints and other surface problems corrected during coating?
Every system applied includes crack and joint fill, etc. However, the epoxy and urethane systems add an additional day due to the slow time they take to cure.
How long will the coating last?
This depends on the system selected. However, the more mil thickness applied, the longer wear surface you can expect. |
